all i want for christmas is my two front teeth! |
=( well, atleast now, di na sya bungal, hehe! |

Bohol (day 3) |
november 20, 2005 woke up early, had breakfast and prepared for our 1050am flight. our shutlle picked us at 8am because we haven't bought any pasalubongs & souvenirs yet. so we had to visit stores first before heading to the airport. most souvenir shops were still closed. then we chanced upon one which was quite expensive, but what the heck, we had no choice. we just bought some bohol goodies for our families. we didn't buy shirts anymore for ourselves because my parents already gave us before when they went to bohol. instead, i just bought one cute shirt for baby boy, the shirt print just like my bohol shirt, hehe. the bohol airport sucks! it was small and very hot. thanked god we only stayed there for 30 minutes. it was bye-bye time to bohol, we'll surely miss you! and promise we'll be back when my baby boy can finally play on the shore with your BIG star fishes, hehe.
that was our 1st time to travel on our own with our baby boy in tow! it was tiring yet fulfilling! never mind if i had to breatfeed while crusing loboc river, if hubby carried him all the way up the stairs of chocolate hills, if we had to take turns eating our buffet meals, if we weren't able to join our friends on their island adventures and mall gimiks at night, if we always had an "extra" bagage in tow the whole vacation! just a SMILE and a LAUGH from my baby is enough for us to believe that we made the right decision in bringing him in this vacation. he was so well-behaved, he never cried during the whole tour, he would only nursed when we were inside the van already or when we're in a comfortable place. he was never "pasaway", sobrang nakisama. sabi nga ng mga friends namin, para kaming walang kasamang baby eh. he would just smile and laugh and look at the views. i know he enjoyed our vacation as much as we did! most of all, it was straight 24/3 bonding time for my family. truly, an amazing experience i wouldn't want it any other way, eeer, except had it extended! BITIN!!! |

Bohol (day 2) |
november 20, 2005 breakfast in bed was great too. atleast we didn't need to go down their resto just for the free breakfast. then we're all set to the beach! our service dropped us at Bohol Beach Club! it was one of the best resort in Panglao Island. the facilities were clean, including the pool and the beach, and the beachfront and the white sand and everything, hehe! i just looove it! my baby was ready for his 1st "real" swim. and look at his cute attire, swimming diaper c/o maver monet.
we first dipped in the pool, with his baby floater. aaaw, he's so adorable! and he didn't want on his floater, he wanted to be carried and he wanted to swim, haha, so funny and so cute! eto pa, while i was carrying him sa pool, bigla nyang iyuyuko ung face nya to touch the water, haha, he did this twice. curious siguro sya sa tubig sa pool. after 15 mins of picture taking, umahon na kami.
then it was time for our delicious buffet lunch. after, rest for awhile. while our friends went island-hoppping and snorkeling, we were left baby-sitting and breastfeeding.
when the sun set, baby boy wore his cute trunks for photo ops at the beach this time.
finished swimming and enjoying the beach at around 6pm. then off we went back to our hotel. as usual, had our filling dinner at the room. then packed our things because whether we like it or not, we're going home the next day, huhu! so tired again, in dreamland in no time. missed PBB for the 2nd time. =( |

Bohol (day 1) |
november 19, 2005 barely slept because i had to arrange our stuff hours before. and we both came home late at night. i arrived home at 12mn while hubby arrived past 2am. can't eat and run from the wedding i'd attended, the wedding party was so fun to leave! our flight was scheduled at 910am, then re-sched (please check my PAL blog) to 1010am. woke up at 6am, prepared, ate breakfast and bid our parents goodbye! as usual, ang walang kamatayang bilinan, especially sa kanilang unico ihong apo! the taxi driver thought that we're leaving for good, kasi pasakay na lang kami ng taxi eh di pa matapos ang mga paalala. =) arrived at the airport at 8am. haba ng pila sa entrance pa lang. pano pala eh kasabay namin ung ibang athletes and people for the sea games. they're all bound to bacolod. waited for our friends and our flight. time to play with my baby first.
after switching gates, it was finally boarding time. i let my baby sleep before we finally took off.
it was a smooth 1-hr flight. finally, we're in bohol!
after checking in our hotel, soledad suites, we're bound to our city tour... first destination, loboc river cruise. we had a sumptuos lunch while cruisin the river with "manong acoustic singer" to entertain us.
then, we headed to the chocolate hills! and saw for ourselves the beauty of these "pandan hills", hehe. kulay green pa kasi eh. kapag summer daw sila mukhnag choclits talaga kasi di masyadong green ang mga puno't halaman! as of now, pandan muna sila. =)
after that, dumaan kami sa man-made forest pero dahil medyo gabi na, wala nang gustong magpa-picture at baka daw pagna-develop eh may katabi na sila sa background. so nagpunta na lang kami sa hanging bridge. nothin much, just the hangin' bridge at ang ang "buko king" na nanghihingi ng donasyon para talupan daw nya sa harap namin ung buko with his teeth! sabi namin nakita na namin sa eat bulaga un, hehe.
after that, sa tarsiers na kami. ang cu-cute nila! pero syempre, pinaka-cute pa din aking baby tarsier! =)
we dropped by baclayon church but it was closed already. then sa blood compact site, though we didn't go down the van na kasi baby boy was in dreamland already. so back to the hotel and had dinner delivered in our room. the food was great and the hotel was really nice, including the bathrooms and the services and everything! we could have mistaken it as a 5-star hotel in bohol! less the lobby of course. =) because we we're so tired and exhausted, i dozed off to sleep at once. though my baby was still nursing, haha. i wasn't able to watch "pasaway" moving out of PBB's house! hehe gudnyte!!!

ensaymada ispesyal! |

How did we survive our childhood? |
>>>this message was forwarded to my highschool egroup by our classmate, just had to say my piece...
If you were a kid in the 50's, 60's, 70's or even early 80's...how did you survive your childhood?
1.- When we were growing up we never wore seatbelts in the car, cars didn't have airbags... >>> oo naman, nakaupo pa ako nuon sa harapan, kandong ng mama ko sa passenger seat. nilalagay ko lang ung dalawang kamay ko sa me dashboard, para pag sudden break eh di mapukpok ang nguso ko sa harapan at baka mabalian ako ng ngipin. =)
2.- Riding on the back of a pick up truck was an adventure that we still remember! >>> haha, walang gustong sumakay sa loob. mahangin kasi sa labas kaya masaya.
3.- Our cribs were painted with bright colors (paint which was full of lead). >>> di ko na matandaan, bunso kasi ako eh, kaya wala na akong crib na inabutan sa bahay.
4.- We didn't have childproof medicine bottles, nor did our parents ever childproof our house >>> korek! ngayon, ang daming kaartehan. ang daming kailangang gawin at bilhin. dedma, part of childhood ang madapa at magkasugat noh. =)
5.- When we rode our bikes, we never wore a helmet. >>> haha, naalala ko tuloy ung sumemplang ako nuon sa bike ko at nahimatay. di ko alam kung baket, siguro kasi wala akong helmet, nyahaha.
6.- We would drink water from the faucet or from a hose in the backyard (not bottled water). >>> the best pa din ung ice tubig! lalo na ung semi-yelo na ung tubig. tapos share pa kayo ng friend mo, kabilaang butas kayo, haha. at champion kapag galing sa laro, tas iinom ng ice tubig, ung plastic pag hinawakan nagkukulay putik. haha, kadiri!!!
7.- We didn't have cell phones, so our parents were never able to reach us (awesome). >>> yup, pero may landline na kami. eto naman ang bagay na wish ko eh sana nuon pa meron na. =)
10.- We would get scrapes, bruises, brake bones, lose teeth, but we would never sue for these accidents. >>> oo, kasi malamang nademanda na ako kung uso na ito nuon. =)
11.- We would eat cake, bread and butter, drink sugary drinks, and we weren't overweight because we were always outside playing. >>> onga noh. try ko nga ulet maglaro sa labas araw-araw, baka pumayat ulet ako...
12.- Four of us would share a drink, we would all drink from the same bottle and that wasn't gross nor would anyone get sick. >>> friends forever ang tawag namin dito. share-share sa lahat ng bagay.
13.- We didn't have Playstations, Nintendo 64, X boxes, video games, cable TV with over 100 channels, VCR's, surround sound, cellular phones, computers, online chatrooms, instead we would have tons of FRIENDS. >>> although meron nang family computer at ang famous Mario Brothers, mas ok pa din maglaro sa kalye with real friends!
16.- Some of us weren't as bright as others but when one would get left back that was no big deal. They would not get taken to a psychologist, nor did they ever suffer from dyslexia, hyperactivity, ADHD, ADD, etc, they would simply repeat the grade until they passed. >>> ay, may kilala akong ganito, hehe.
We had freedom, mishaps, successes, responsibilities, and we would learn to deal with them. The question is...How did we survive? And above all, to become the GREAT people that we are today? Are you from one of these generations?
If you are, then send this message to others from your same generation or to others who are younger so that they can see how we survived.
They will probably say that we were very boring, but I believe that were VERY HAPPY CHILDREN!
>>>definitely!!! =) |

missing my baby... |
can't help but blog, need to release it lang! i miss my baby so much!!! dunno why?! siguro dahil 3 days kaming nag-bonding. travelling with baby with only me and hubby made us much closer. and almost 24/3 (3 days lang kasi eh =) sa akin si baby eh. as usual, pag nakikita nya ako, gusto nya laging dikit sa akin. minsan lang sya carry ni hubby pag talagang pagod na ako, or i had to eat and do necessary things. so all in all, we truly bonded mag-ina, hehe. kaya eto ako ngayon, miss na miss ang aking bebe, huhu. gusto ko nang umuwe!!! ayaw ko ngang masyadong isipin kasi baka ma-miss din nya ako at mag-iiyak sa house. kanina nga lang pag-alis ko, umiiyak habang nagbaba-bye ako! hay, ang hirap! buti na lang he's sleeping soundly now when i called. hay, 5.5 hours to go before i can finally hug and kiss him again! the countdown starts now... vacation mode pa din kasi ako eh, kaka-miss!!! |

PAL (Plane Always Late!) |
i received a call this afternoon from PAL informing me that our 9am flight to Tagbilaran, Bohol tomorrow will be delayed for an hour due to minor problems. how's that?! we are scheduled on a city tour at 1130am, and that includes a buffet lunch while cruisin Loboc River! i'm not quite sure if the balsa offers "late lunch"?! hay, just ranting! as if we have a choice! why hasn't PAL improved the "Filipino time" yet? of all my PAL flights, they've never been on-the-dot! that's why when we are travelling abroad, we rather fly thru international airlines. bad citizen huh, but hey, you can't blame us! every minute counts on intenational flights! but we're not bad! on local tours, we still prefer PAL, although Cebu Pacific states "the new Filipino time". but now, i'm having second thoughts again, hehe. anyway, there's always the next flight! =) now, how the hell can we improve our tourism when our carrier can't improve their services yet? it just always define that filipinos are always late! hehe, thank god i'm a filipino, a good excuse on that! =) but looking on the bright side, atleast we don't need to wake up at 5AM tomorrow! and atleast, PAL has the decency to call and infrom us! instead of us waiting at the passenger's lounge and counting all the planes that took off and touched down the airport. oh well, it's one-hour delay, tops! hope the delayed flight won't be delayed!!! |

4mal attire (part 2) |
regarding the 4mal wedding party tonight, fortunately, i was able to fit in one of my black cocktail dress (black talaga para di halata =). it was a cocktail dress bought by my mom before, wasn't able to wear it yet before kasi maluwag. waaah, just realized kung gaano ako tumaba kasi medyo "body fit" pa ngayon ung dress, huhu! anyway, i have a shawl pantakip sa mga unwanted baby fats ko, hehe. kanina, i again had my "usual productive" lunch-out, hehe. after buying some baby stuffs, a baby floater and some pooh items for prizes (sssh, don't tell hubby! i never leave malls without one, hehe), i was able to visit a salon, hehe, how productive! =) i had my nails done and eyebrow threading. had no choice because it's beginning to look like claudine barreto's eyebrows, before her total make-over! =)anyway, it's always been a certified tear-jerker, never fails to make me cry! same with facial, damn!!! everything is set and i'm quite excited! =) this morning, i had to drive myself to the office because of all the stuffs i'm bringing. and also because hubby isn't coming with me, he has his own gimik tonight. luckily, he has more stuffs to load than me so he drove the van while i have the power-steering car, haha. just realized this morning that i missed driving, been on the passenger seat since i got married, except on personal gimiks of course! but while traversing makati with the heavy traffic, i then knew it's better to have a driver a.k.a hubby, hehe. wish me luck tonight because it's midnight madness! =( 3 hours to go and i'll be meeting my ex-officemates, can't wait! it's a reunion!!! 2 of them even flew from cebu and singapore just to attend this wedding. and since last night, they were ALL staying at makati shang. sadly, i wasn't able to join them anymore, for reasons they understood! except of course they are willing to take turns baby-sitting, that would be heaven! =) bye for now, i still have to figure out my "looks" tonight! =) |

my 7-month old... |
these are excerpts from baby center, i just found it so applicable to me & my baby...
"You've always known that you and your baby are two separate creatures, but she hasn't. To her, the two of you are one — she has no identity of her own. When you put her in front of a mirror, she doesn't even realize that the baby she sees is her. But this month she'll make a huge mental leap and finally understand that she's an individual, with her own body, thoughts, and feelings. This jump in understanding opens the door to her growing emotional and physical independence, which will take years to fully develop." >>> huhuhu, he'll soon realize that he's an individual? does that mean he'll SOON be independent? oh my, i'll surely miss those times he's so fragile, that i needed to support his head & neck whenever i was carrying him; that time when i was breastfeeeding him for almost 3 hours straight, he just won't stop, hehe; that time when i can't moved even a single part of me in bed for the fear of waking him up, i value his sleep so much; and that time when i can't even pee/poo/bath as long as i wanted to because a single cry made me run to him, i don't want hearing my baby cry. and most of all, this time when he cries and shout whenever he sees me and wants to be with me...and ONLY me! it's such a nice feeling, and even if i'm so tired of this, i savor each moment because i know that SOON, he's no longer fully dependent on me. =(
"Testing, testing ... By now, you may have already told your baby that the telephone is not a toy, or that rattles are not for throwing, or that his sister's hair is not for pulling. The fact is, at this age your baby may begin testing your authority by refusing to follow your directions or entreaties. He's not really being disobedient or willful — he's just curious. Keep in mind that he also simply can't remember things for more than a couple of seconds at a time. The best tactic is to use a simple no, then distract him." >>> aha, aha, aha! now he starts to understand huh! time to discipline my baby...on second thought, i don't think i can...NOT YET! =)
"A simple game of peekaboo might be absolutely fascinating to your baby. That's because he's starting to understand object permanence (that an object he can't see can still exist) and loves games where people or things appear and disappear. In fact, one of the easiest ways to keep a 7-month-old occupied is by hiding an object under a blanket for him to discover." >>> i love this game because my baby loves it sooo much! i hope you can hear his laughs and see his toothless grin whenever we play this. oh it will surely melt your heart out. =)
oh my, it's less than 5 months to go...just can't get enough of my baby! =) |

4mal attire |
i'll be attending a wedding on friday, sa sanctuario de san antonio ang mass, then sa makati shang ang reception. i know it's a formal affair, but i was just planning to wear my formal pants & tops. but then, i got the invitation just today, and oh man! it's reaaally FORMAL!!! as in strictly formal dress/gown for ladies! at ang mga sponsors, puro bigatin! nandun si sen. tatad, cong. francis escudero, v-gov. jestoni alracon, at higit sa lahat, nandun si imelda papin! syeeet! idol, hehe! anyway, i've asked my friends who'll be going and they'll all be wearing formal dresses. eto na ang problema ko...right now kasi i can't fit YET sa mga old gowns and formal dresses ko. because i haven't lose my excess baby fats yet. (korek, baby fats eto...fats caused by my baby, hehe!). so anong isusuot ko? nyaaa, parang sayang naman kung bibili pa ako, then once ko lang naman gagamitin. because i'm not planning to stay this way forever noh...asa pa ako! =) ang weird kasi right now, i'm currently shopping for our casual and swimming attire for bohol. tapos biglang kailangan kong idagdag ang gown sa shopping list ko, nyak! i'll try to check my closet muna tonight...kung wala talaga...bahala na! malamang, landmark (& mr.plastic) is the answer!!! =) |

ssssshhh... |
=) i posted here weeks ago our supposed to be ocean adventure get-away. sobrang excited kami nun kasi 1st swimming ni baby boy at 1st "real" out-of-town nya. he's been to tagaytay na before pero dahil madalas naman kami dun at may house kami dun eh di na masyadong "challenging" ang tagaytay for us. =) sa subic sana kasi overnight kami dun sa hotel, kaya excited talaga kami. and with all the dolphins and whales shows, i'm sure matutuwa si...hubby, hehe. anyway, eto ang story behind the postponement. days before, nagkasakit si baby boy, inuubo, kaya syempre pa, cancelled! so kinausap ko si baby boy na magpagaling na sya at next weekend na lang kami pupunta (long weekend). pero etong si baby ko, mukhang ayaw yata mag-travel talaga kaya di pa din sya fully recovered came that saturday. so for the 2nd time, postponed ulet. =) |

happy monthsary! =) |
1st time naming mag-kape sa starbucks-marquinton, ang lapit lang sa amin nito pero nung linggo lang namin napuntahan. owel, it just goes to show na limited na talaga ang gimik at kopi tym pag may baby na. so we ordered the usual and just talked about our future plans together. it's so nice to have our "own" time once in a while, ung tipong walang iiyak at wala kang ibang aasikasuhin. pero of course, we missed our baby while we were having coffee, kaya uwe din kami agad. what a nice way to end our monthsary, just like the way we were celebrating before, pre-baby, hehe. para kaming mag-bf/gf ulet, aaaw, how swit! un lang, happy anniversary mahal!!! and as the cliche goes...more to come! =) |

medyo sumobra yata ang bonding namin ni baby boy sa 2 long weekends na magkasama kami. paano naman, kapag karga sya ng iba tas makikita o maaalala nya ko eh bigla na lang sisigaw. as in cry na parang kinakatay! hay...and he won't stop hanggat di ko sya lalapitan. at pag lapit ko, biglang taas ng dalawang kamay sa akin at nagpapakuha. on a positive note, ang sarap ng feeling kasi love na love na ako ng baby ko. kaya lang minsan, wala na akong magawang iba kasi laging gusto sa akin. sabi ko nga sa kanya itatali ko na lang sya sa katawan ko eh, hehe. then kanina, after 3 straight days na magkasama kami, ay kailangan na ulet naming maghiwalay dahil back to the real world na naman! when i was about to leave this morning, nasa terrace si baby boy karga ni lolo nya. so i kissed him goodbye and told him to be a good boy and i'll see him again later. ba-bye na ako, then labas na ng gate. smile-smile pa sya nung una, coz this is our usual routine naman everytime i go to the office. so wave pa sya ng hand, with lolo's help. maya-maya, biglang umiyak at nakatingin lang sa akin. hala, umalis na ako agad! nakakaawa kasi hanggang kanto, dinig ko ung cry nya, parang gusto kong bumalik sa house at kargahin na lang sya. kung pwede ko lang sana isama dito sa opisina. haaay! paano na ngayon, at almost 7 months, marunong na syang mag-inarte at ayaw nang magpa-iwan. lagot ako, mukhang me taguan na mangyayari sa bahay namin tuwing umaga ah. it pains me more leaving him behind now! hirap na nga akong iwanan sya dati tuwing aalis ako at todo smile sya, ngayon pa kayang umiiyak naman. owel, not much choice. still need to work! i guess we just need to do some goodbye techniques. do you moms out there know any? please help!!! thanks! =) |

cost of raising a child |
>>> i got this email from my e-group and i just posted it here so i can read it over and over again! i love this post, it reminds me of all the fruits, benefits and happiness of having kids, even if it means sacrificing a LOT! and financially speaking, cutting a LOT from your personal expenses! definitely, no amount of money can replace the happiness it brings even with just a simple smile from your baby! =)
The government recently calculated the cost of raising a child from birth to 18 and came up with $160,140 for a middle income family. Talk about sticker shock! That doesn't even touch college tuition.
For those with kids, that figure leads to wild fantasies about all the money we could have banked if not for (insert your child's name here).
For others, that number might confirm the decision to remain childless. But $160,140 isn't so bad if you break it down. It translates into $8,896.66 a year, $741.38 a month, or $171.08 a week. That's a mere $24.44 a day! Just over a dollar an hour.
Still, you might think the best financial advice says don't have children if you want to be "rich". It is just the opposite.
So, what DO you get for your $160,140?
Naming rights. First, middle, and last!
Glimpses of God everyday.
Giggles under the covers every night.
More love than your heart can hold.
Butterfly kisses and Velcro hugs.
Endless wonder over rocks, ants, clouds, and warm cookies.
A hand to hold usually covered with jam.
A partner for blowing bubbles, flying kites, building sandcastles, and skipping down the sidewalk in the pouring rain.
Someone to laugh yourself silly with no matter what the boss said or how poorly your stocks performed that day.
For $160,140, you never have to grow up.
You get to finger-paint, carve pumpkins, play hide-and-seek, catch lightning bugs, and never stop believing in Santa Claus.
You have an excuse to keep: reading the Adventures of Piglet and Pooh, watching Saturday morning cartoons, going to Disney movies, and wishing on stars.
You get to frame rainbows, hearts, and flowers under refrigerator magnets and collect spray painted noodle wreaths for Christmas, hand prints set in clay for Mother's Day, and cards with backward letters for Father's Day.
For $160,140, there is no greater bang for your buck.
You get to be a hero just for retrieving a Frisbee off the garage roof, taking the training wheels off the bike, removing a splinter, filling a wading pool, coaxing a wad of gum out of bangs, and coaching a baseball team that never wins but always gets treated to ice cream regardless.
You get a front row seat to history to witness the first step, first word, first bra, first date, and first time behind the wheel.
You get to be immortal.
You get another branch added to your family tree, and if you're lucky, a long list of limbs in your obituary called grandchildren.
You get an education in psychology, nursing, criminal justice, communications, and human sexuality that no college can match.
In the eyes of a child, you rank right up there with God.
You have all the power to heal a boo-boo, scare away the monsters under the bed, patch a broken heart, police a slumber party, ground them forever, and love them without limits, so one day they will, like you, love without counting the cost.
AMEN to that!!! =)
GOD bless all the PARENTS in the house! |

my 1st christmas gift to baby |
yipeee! finally ay nakabili na ako ng christmas gift ko kay baby. i’ve been contemplating on this for a very long time already, and rested on the idea of giving him inflatables. these huge things that can serve as playpen as well. but then, when hubby and i were discussing about this, he gave me 2 reasons to think otherwise. 1st, space consuming, or either we park our cars outside the garage, haha. 2nd, it can be easily damaged. katulad na lang nung binili kong inflatable pool, may nabutas na part sya kaya pangit nang tignan. so i had to look for a better alternative, which i found yesterday during my lunch-out, hehe. i told hubby and he agreed. but when i told him the price, he disagreed! patay! but because i really like it and i’m sure my baby will love it, hubby just said, “bahala ka, pera mo naman yan eh.” yippee, i’m so happy! one more thing, it can be used by babies from 9mos to 48mos. so christmas gift ko na yan, plus birthday gift at sa isa pang christmas ulet, nyahaha! j/k anyway, here it is, the Little Tikes 2 in 1 Snug ‘n Secure Swing:
i already bought it kanina during my lunch out again, hehe. how productive my lunch-outs ha. pina-gift wrap ko na din sya. my gift makes me more excited this christmas. hay, can't wait! si hubby kaya, anong gift kay baby boy? at sa akin? nyahaha...this excites me the most, hehe. =) btw, don't tell my baby boy about this ha, you might ruin my big surprise. teehee! |

my halloween kisses |
last sunday, after hearing mass sa robinsons with hubby, baby & mama, we learned na meron palang trick or treat at 1pm. seeing all those cute kids in their costumes, i told my baby na next year ay bibilhan ko talaga sya ng costume so he can join halloween parties. while we were eating lunch, biglang naalala ng mama ko na may costume pala si baby boy sa house, bigay sa kanya ng friend ko from US. oo nga pala, so stupid of me to forget! toink! so after eating, tumawid ang aking hubby at umuwe to get the costume. eto ang ok kapag overpass lang ang pagitan nyo sa mga malls eh, hehe. but when i was about to register, nyek, closed na pala kasi til 1pm lang daw ang registration. ok lang naman kasi wala naman kaming balak magtagal eh, tsaka my baby can't really enjoy it yet. besides, di pa naman nya makakain ung mga candies na binibigay ng mga stores. i just want him to be part of it kahit papano, at syempre, picture galore kami! we were in tokyo tokyo at dun namin sya binihisan. aba! pag kita ng mga tao, cute na cute sa kanya. at aliw din sa costume nya kasi kakaiba talaga! then we went down at picture-picture sa stage. then my hubby saw the hershey's stall at nagpunta kami dun. the manager asked me if he can take a picture of my baby. ang daya nga wala man lang binigay sa aming give-away eh my baby looked like a hershey's model promoting their product eh. anyway, we really enjoyed the event. even my baby did, smile pa sya ng smile and never cried. kahit na medyo may kainitan ang costume, hehe. you want to see him? sakto naman sa halloween ang costume ng aking baby kasi sya ung nilalagay sa trick or treat basket eh, hehe. eto na po ang aking cuteee baby...
sarap kainin noh? =) sayang lang at tapos na ung hershey's photo contest. with his costume, he could have won the trip to disney. hay, ang shungak ko talaga...another TOINK!!! |

my baby's 1st christmas gift |
when hubby & i did our 1st christmas shopping last month, we bought one RC car as gift to *****. then we saw this BIG remote control car that we really wanted for baby boy. but that can wait, he can't control the remote yet. actually, wala pa lang kaming budget. =) when we went home, kwento ko sa baby ko. told him, "alam mo baby, may malaking car dun, ang ganda! bili kita nun pag malaki ka na!" fortunately, my mama overheard it! =) at sabi ng aking napakaganda at napakabait na ina (halata bang sipsip) ay "sige baby, bilhan kita nun, xmas gift ko syo!" hahaha, wowoweee!!! at un na nga, nag-shopping kami nung monday at binili na ni mama ang kanyang gift kay baby boy. pag uwe ng bahay, ang nakinabang ay ang mga matatanda, nyahaha! ang hirit ng aking asawa, "wow, may laruan na ako!" at ang hirit ng aking kuya, "bibili din ako nyan, tas karera tayo (to hubby)". hay naku, ang mga matatanda, bumalik sa pagkabata! malamang sa maluma na ung RC car bago pa malaro ni baby. pero naaliw kami kay baby kasi marunong na syang umilag. nakatayo kasi sya at nung malapit na ung car sa kanya ay tinataas nya ung paa nya para di sya masagasaan. o kaya ay mag-step sidewards para umiwas. haha, ang galing. and he seems to enjoy it already. this is the family's new toy, hehe.
lucky apo, spoiled sa lolo't lola. =) |
