| recap on bday preps |
mar 18 - distributed the invites to families & friends (this deserves another blog! =)
mar 19 - lootbags! inayos ko na at tinapos lahat ng lootbag items ko. i put the names of the kids and the label stickers in the key tags, attached it to the bags, then arranged it according to their age. since iba-iba ang laman ng loots ko for every age bracket, sobrang hirap i-organize. kasi may ibang pooh items na kulang, may ibang sobra for the age goup. medyo kawawa nga yung mga babies ko na 0 age eh, kasi wala akong masaydong nailagay, dahil wala akong makitang pooh items na appropriate sa kanila. sabi ni hubby, lagyan ko na lang daw ng pooh bottles, eh hello, ang maliit na bote kaya ng pooh ay P75.00 each na noh. wag na lang, yung diaper na lang ng mamy poko. haha, buti na lang, namakyaw ako! =)
after so many hours ay natapos din ako. i had a total of 37 kids. sobrang happy ako sa accomplishment kong ito talaga. next project ay ang aking prizes! mas madugo yata ito eh, kasi mas madami...waaah!
akala ko ay tapos na ako sa lootbags, hindi pa pala! kasi habang lumalapit ang event ay ang daming nadadagdag na bisita. last count ko was 120 adults & 38 kids na! mas ok sa akin ang magdagdag sa adults eh, kasi additional payment lang ito sa caterer. pero pag sa kids, mas madugo kasi additional loot na naman ito. eh naubos na kaya yung mga pooh items ko for loots! at please lang, ayoko nang magdagdag pa... papatayin na talaga ako ng asawa ko, hehe.
mar 20-24 - in-the-office and late-night preps, which includes typing, printing, cutting, labelling, sticking at kung ano-ano pang ING! =)
mar 25 - BREAK!!! =) swimming at 8th Waves, Bulacan (another blog)
mar 26 - do the standeeSSS.
mar 27-31 - same as 20-24. =)
apr 1 - prizes! hay, nung nilabas ko lahat ang aking prizes sa kani-kanilang taguan, tsaka ko lang na-realize na ang dami ko na palang naipon, haha. pwede na talaga akong pumwesto sa mall at magtinda ng Pooh items. sobrang naaliw ako. and during the sorting, me mga tinabi din ako for baby boy, hehe. super cute kasi nung iba, kaya syempre, di pwedeng mawalan ang aking anak ng prizes nya, kaya i saved some for him. point-system ang prizes ko, kaya madugo din i-assort lahat kasi i need to know the value of each para maidikit ko yung correct point nya. at nung i-add ko lahat ng points ng prizes, i had a total of 377 points! whoa! and i only bought 240 cards (tickets) to give to kids. sobra-sobra ang prizes ko kaya i had to buy additional cards pa. i'm so excited to arrange these prizes, i'm pretty sure the kids will love
them.
apr 2 - attended the 1st bday party of Margaux (another blog); meeting with my host at Starbucks, Marquinton. Bobi and his team are my friends since we've started the party shop business. suki nila kami kasi lagi ko silang kinukuha for my big parties. tried and tested ko na sila, and i promised them way back that i'll get them when my turn comes. and now, it's finally here! i also like the idea of having a host who we really know, para may personal touch talaga. since we're both familiar with our "styles", we just discussed the program flow, the games and other gimmicks to liven up the party. they're also excited already! =)
that leaves me with just 1 WEEK before my baby turns ONE!!!
huhuhu, hope i can stop the time! not only because my baby will turn 1! but also because another dilemma is bound to happen after the 1st birthday! =( |
