| the star is gone! =( |
last saturday, my bestfriend and i celebrated her birthday. i fetched her at 5pm, then headed to the fort. we were excited for our 1st Eurostar Carnival experience!
side kwento lang...since i always pass by the fort every uwian, nalaman ko na agad ang eurostar the moment i saw the beautiful lights on it's big ferris wheel. so, nagtanong ako agad about it and was so excited to check that place. for someone like me who loves amusement parks and the rides, and have been to Enchanted Kingdom, Ocean World of HK, Sea World, Disneyland and Six Flags of US, pati Fiesta Carnival at mga perya yata eh pinatulan ko na just for the thrill of it. this rare oppotunity to experience Eurostar shouldn't really be missed. and besides, they are only here for a limited time, until the month of March as i was (mis)informed.
hindi ko alam kung bakit sa dinami-dami ng plinano kong pagpunta dun eh di kami matuloy-tuloy. we were supposed to be there when they launched, also planned to celebrate chinese new year there. but since di type ni hubby (a.k.a. takot sa rides, haha =) yung mga ganun, kaya siguro hindi kami natutuloy.
after kong yayain ang aking pamilya, magulang at mga kamag-anak na laging postponed, eh niyaya ko na lang ang aking bestfriend na mahilig din umupo sa 1st or last row ng Space Shuttle.
so back to the main story. we arrived at the fort around 6pm. malayo pa lang ay napansin ko nang walang ilaw ang ferris wheel. so taka na kami kasi medyo madilim na yun eh, kaya dapat madami nang lights sa carnival. hangang sa papalapit kami ng papalapit ay lalong lumilinaw sa amin na malabo na kaming makapasok sa loob!!! waaah! sarado na sya!!! samantalang nung friday night na dumaan ako dun eh umaandar pa lahat ng rides. though napansin ko nga na wala nang masyadong taong nakasakay. feeling ko eh maaga pa kaya ganun, or talagang lugi nga siguro sila. so i confirmed the latter because they were supposed to be here until this march, eh mar 4 pa lang, inalis na! at ang dami pa naming mga kasabay dun na nagpupunta at nagtatanong kung bakit sarado na sila. they must have atleast advised that they'll soon be closing. para man lang na-sched ko ng maaga ang pagpunta namin. hay, kainis talaga! totally bad trip kaming dalawa!
so we diverted into food na lang, haha. wala na kaming magawa eh. just ate A LOT at Pesto. then had coffee at Gloria Jeans until 1am.
hay kainis pa din tuwing maisip ko yun. i've long been waited for that, pero walang nangyari. babalik pa kaya sila dito? di ko man lang nasilayan ang mga italyano, haha. nilipat na daw kasi ang eurostar sa china. now i'm thinking, sundan ko kaya sa china? mwehehe! =p |
