april 08, 2005 – 1 day before i finally gave birth to my beloved son. huhuhu, it’s been 2 years already, but i can still vividly remember everything that happened during those times.
around this time, iniikot na namin ni hubby ang buong subdivision para lang matagtag ako at bumaba na si baby ko, over due na kasi sya. his EDD was april 05, pero april 08 na eh wala pa rin akong contractions whatsoever. kaya ayun, walk-walk-walk kami.
but actually, i was confident that i’ll be giving birth on april 09, yun kasi ang request ko kay lil’ boy the moment i learned about my EDD.
gusto ko kasi talaga april 09 because it’s a holiday (Araw ng Kagitingan). mahilig kasi talaga ako sa holidays eh. anniv namin ni hubby ay june 12, Araw ng Kalayaan, ironic kasi it’s the day we’ve both lost our ‘independence’, mwehehe. and i also wanted that date para sunod-sunod kami ng birthdate, 9-10(hubby)-11(me).
at ang aking masunuring anak, sumunod naman, pero medyo mahal ang kapalit because he chose to come out the CS way. =(
and now, 2 years have passed, without me knowing. time really flies so fast when you have a child and enjoying each and every day with him. grabe, super nalulungkot ako dahil mag-2yo na baby ko, actually, di na pala baby pero toddler na. but of course, he’ll forever be my baby in my heart. =)
tomorrow, he’ll turn 2, whether i like it or not. =) super dami na nyang alam, super dami ng kakulitan. and i’m super happy for having him in my life. i’m just overflowing with love for my baby, can’t get enough of him every minute of the day. parang minsan, i just want to freeze time, para lang ma-maximize ko ang moment ko with my baby. lagi ko kasing naiisip na sa bilis ng panahon, soon enough, mag-school na baby ko kaya may kahati na ako sa time nya. and when he starts schooling, tuloy-tuloy na yun, wala ng tigil until he gets older and be on his own. that’s what i’m really afraid of. mawawala na ang lil’ boy na sunod ng sunod sa akin, na tuwing makikita ako ay halos ayaw na humiwalay sa katawan ko. ang lil’ boy na laging dumedede any time of the day. ang baby ko na anytime and everytime ay biglang lalapit sa akin at magki-kiss. ang batang walang tigil ang kakulitan at kapilyuhan. ang aking anak who constantly reminds me how blessed i am.
but i guess there’s no stopping time. so tomorrow, on his actual birthday, we'll just have a simple Barney cake blowing. the Barney swimming picnic party will be on saturday pa (april 14) which i’m quite excited about (syempre party eh. =). as well as lil' boy and his cousins, also the guests. nagbilihan na nga daw sila ng mga attire ng mga kids nila eh, pati new floaters para sa party, nyahaha.
so for now, Happy 2nd Birthday my lil’ boy! always remember that i love you very much and forever will, no matter what. =)
p.s. thank you Lord for the sweet 2 years, and many more years to come for my cutie lil’ boy. |
