| coffee break |
jan 12, friday – hubby and i had our well-deserved coffee break! =)
side kwento: last Wednesday (01/10), hubby and i didn’t go to office. tuesday night pa lang kasi, nilalagnat na si lil’ boy, we’re just wondering why eh wala naman syang colds or cough, wala ding may sakit sa house para mahawa sya. so we assumed na pilay na naman dahil sa kalikutan. =)
so Wednesday morning, may lagnat pa din kaya we decided to take a leave from work at dalhin si lil boy sa manghihilot. after the hilot early in the morning, we ate breakfast sa Jollibee, wawa naman kasi si lil’ boy eh, iyak sya sa hilot. =(
after that, napag-usapan namin ni hubby na hindi na lang muna kami papasok the whole day and decided to do our saturday errands instead. sa saturday kasi kami naka-schedule mamili ng prizes for our big party on jan 21.
side, side kwento, hehe: i have a very busy officemate (who was referred by Jopay, thanks Jops!) who got me as her over-all party coordinator for the party of her 1st born in Parañaque. pati pagbili ng prizes sa Divisoria eh hindi na nya magawa kaya kasama na yun sa services ko. anyway, i enjoy going to Divi always. =)
back to the main side kwento, pag-uwe namin ng house, lil' boy was already doing ok. so Divisoria we went. =) nag-mrt lang kami ni hubby, enjoy kasi we got to talk a lot. we’ve been so busy lately na hindi na kami masyadong nakakapag-usap eh. then diretso na kami sa Divi Mall. at dun na kami namili ng worth 15k na prizes! i texted my 2 other clients kasi na i’m going to Divi, baka gusto na din nilang magpabili. and of course, they did. one less hassle na nga naman sa kanila yun di ba. kaya namakyaw ako ng toys dun, super dami, mga 8 big red & white stripes bag and blue plastic bags dala namin. so obviously, di na namin nabitbit ni hubby sa sobrang dami at sobrang bigat. kaya hinatid na lang kami ng pedicab sa Juan Luna ba yun, where he got us a cab. buti na lang mababait sila manong, but of course, ang ganong kabaitan sa Divi ay may katapat na malaking halaga. =) we arrived home by a cab around 4pm. at sobrang pagod na.
every night, it has been puyatan nights for the two of us. actually, 3 pala kasi nakikisabay si lil boy sa puyatan, kaya lalo akong napupuyat. hubby has so many rackets (projects) now, the biggest is the website of Jessa Z. while i’m having 2 big events next week, kaya busy sa pag-coordinate with the suppliers, sa pag-assort ng prizes & loot bags and of course, sa pag-compute, hehe.
thank God that 2007 seems to be a bright year for our businesses. hubby has been doing a lot of projects and i’ve been receiving a number of inquiries and bookings lately. =) hope na magtuloy-tuloy lahat. =)
and because of that nga, puyatan kami at gising ng madaling araw to finish our commitments. not to mention that we still have to be in our day jobs everyday. but not that we’re complaining. we love it! we love what we’re doing, keep it coming! =)
at pagakatapos ng napakahabang side kwento…now the main story. =)
pag-uwe ng house after work, nagpasama si hubby sa client nyang photographer. he had to get the pictures para sa lay-out nya. so sinama na din namin si lil boy coz we decided to have coffee sa Starbucks Marquinton after. a simple way na din to celebrate our monthsary. yes, we still greet each other every 12th of the month. =)
so we had a great time at Starbucks, missed the frap. lil’ boy loves hanging out also at this place:
around 10pm, we decided to go home. paglabas namin ng Starbucks, i saw a familiar face, friend ng bestfriend ko. so pareho pa kaming nagulat and he told me na kasama daw nya si Jing, nag-CR lang. so pagtalikod ko, i saw Jing coming, hehe. kanina pa pala sila sa Starbucks, kaya lang nasa labas sila while we’re inside, mahamog na kasi kaya i didn’t want lil boy to stay out. she was about to text me na daw to tell me na she’s in Marquinton nga. sayang, kasi lil’ boy was sleepy na kaya we had to go home.
we were home by 11pm, pero slept late pa. not because of the coffee, but because of the rackets. =) well atleast we had a break! |
