Dec 25, Monday
left the house around 10am and arrived at San Fernando, Pampanga around lunch time. had a sumptuous lunch as always! after that, nagpasikat si lil' boy. dinala kasi namin yung alphabet toy nya na kabisado na nya ang letters. when asked if where's "A for Apple", he'll point on the letter A, and so with all the letters. kaya tuwang -tuwa ang mga lolo at mga pinsan ko sa kanya.
then chikahan with my cousins and gift-giving. aliw si lil’ boy kasi marunong ng humawak at kumilatis ng pera. at magaling din kasi pagtanggap nya ng aguinaldo, sabay intrega sa nanay, haha.
lil’ boy had fun playing basketball (as always!) with his Kuya JM.
 
we were bringing a lot of gifts when we arrived, and we went home with so much gifts also.
i just love Christmas, i love receiving gifts but definitely love giving gifts more, pramis! =)
side kwento: i just love giving gifts, i love buying and wrapping them all up. minsan nga, nagkakadoble pa iyong mga gifts ko kasi pinapalitan ko kapag may bigla akong makita na sa tingin ko ay mas magugustuhan nila. and i love it more when i see na gusto nila yung gifts ko, lalo na ang mga kids. i think this year ako talaga nag-splurged sa mga gifts. christmas just hit me so hard that i found myself buying Hot Wheels, Barbie and Shelcore as gifts to the kids. (with matching batteries pa yun sa mga "favorite" kids para they'll enjoy my gift agad. minsan kasi, reklamo nating mga nanay, mas mahal pa ang battery sa regalo eh, hehe.)good thing they all liked them. and to my surprise, naubusan pa ako ng card noh. meaning i was able to to wrap more than 100 gifts, kasi i bought additional cards pa for pahabol na gifts eh. =)
back to the story, we were home by 7pm. just had dinner and rested. we were all so tired with the Xmas happenings! =)
it’s so sad kasi we didn’t have the yearly Xmas reunion with my mother side. kila Tita May kasi yun ginaganap every year, eh since they went to the States na last April, wala nang gustong mag-host, hehe. eh kasi naman, New Year na sa amin, kapagod naman kung pati Pasko noh. it’s our 1st xmas without them, kaya kakalungkot talaga. parang ang tahimik ng mga celebration kasi wala silang 6! we just missed them so much!
Dec 26, Tuesday
just stayed home the whole day. super bumawi kami sa tulog at pahinga. just played with lil’ boy the whole day, explored and arranged his new toys. at nag-ayos ng mga natanggap na gifts.
Dec 27-29 - BACK TO WORK!!!
yearly, naka-leave na ako ng buong Xmas break. but dahil sa pesteng sakit ko pa din before, eh naubos ang leave ko. kaya no choice but go back to work. ok lang naman kasi halos wala ding tao sa office, kaya no work pa din, hehe. more work sa Glorietta, Landmark & SM. =) |
