| 1st dental check-up |

i’ve scheduled a 10am appointment w/ Dr. Soraya Santos’ (pediatric dentist) secretary last friday. then while we were on our way, the secretary texted me and asked if i’m pushing through. told her that i’m already near The Medical City and will be there by 10am. unfortunately, we still waited for 2 freakin’ hours! buti na lang i was in a good mood at di ko na tinarayan ang secretary, baka kasi kay lil’ boy gumanti eh, hehe. there were 3 patients before us, eh 930am lang naman ang start ng clinic, so nagtataka ako kung bakit may 3 patients pa na na-sched before my 10am slot, hay! =(
so finally, it’s our time. buti na lang di pa inantok ang anak ko sa kahihintay. the dentist checked lil’ boy’s teeth.
unfortunately, he has tooth decay na daw. maybe because of the vitamin’s stain on his teeth and maybe because he hates brushing. the stains caused by Ferlin (iron vitamins) has been there a couple of months ago. di ko na din matanggal kasi super paiyakan kami every night sa pag-brush. sabay pa kami nyan mag-brush sa gabi ha. but of course, yung brush nya sa sarili nya ay more of play-play lang. when i do the real brushing on him, ayun, magwawala na, kaya hirap din ako eh.
so Dr. just brushed his teeth and applied fluoride (problem pa with fluoride application, 30 mins no liquid intake and 2 hours no solid. eh sa sobrang tagal naming naghintay sa 10am slot namin, syempre nagutom na si lil’ boy!) sobrang iyak siya, nakakaawa talaga. tsaka talagang ako, si hubby pati assistant ni Dr. eh nakahawak na sa kanya, pero nakakawala pa din, hehe.
after that, Dr. advised that filling is already needed para di na lumaki yung butas sa front teeth nya (pag-iisipan ko pa! though no drilling naman daw yun, just filling). then she gave us new toothpaste (P250) to use and Fluoride vitamins (P50). all in all, i paid P1,600! she also gave lil' boy a Spiderman toy as his prize, hehe.
after that, i breastfed lil’ boy to sleep sa van on our way to Galleria. we were at Galleria around 1pm and very hungry, but since di pa pwedeng kumain si lil’ boy, just ate Plato Wraps pantawid gutom. then, of course went to “the happiest place on earth” for hubby! at ito si lil’ boy, as always, enjoy sa balls!
then visited Geoffrey at Toys r’ Us!
 
didn’t enjoy TRU much, parang Toy Kingdom din eh, same old toys at mahal pa. di katulad sa TRU sa ibang bansa na super daming toys at mura pa. i just bought pieces of toys for him and gifts for the kids of my officemates. pero si lil’ boy, nag-enjoy naman, sa dami ba naman ng balls at basketball court na nakita nya dun eh, heaven!
finally, ay nag-230pm na kaya nakakain na kami ng lunch sa Pancake House. then shopping sa Robinsons until 5pm, saya! =)

heard the 11am mass at Robinson’s Metro East. then went to IL’s house for lunch and stayed until 2pm. back at home at nag-siesta until 330pm. then went to Makati Stock Exchange to attend the 4pm kiddie party of my officemate’s kids. sayang daw kasi she’s just new sa company and didn’t know na i organize parties. anyway, ok naman ang party nya, medyo mahal nga lang ang total contract price kasi kiddie-party eh. lil’ boy enjoyed the inflatables, the magic show, the puppet shows. sayang lang kasi super late na kaya di na namin nahintay ang bubble show.
that was how we spent our weekend. =) |
