our 2nd family travel this year, the first was in davao last June.
09/07
we left our house around 12nn for our 3pm flight. buti na lang napagkasya ko ang things namin sa 1 trolley, 1 gym bag and a belt bag for hubby. and my small shoulder bag and back pack for me. good thing i'm still purely breastfeeding kaya wala kaming dalang bottles, formula and all, how convenient is that! =)
we arrived in Kalibo at 4pm, picked-up by Sampaguita Garden van. Ang ganda sa SG, "Everyday is Christmas" talaga! and super cute ng mga Precious Moments, i've always loved PM, super expensive nga lang, nyehehe.
 
so after checking-in and some freshening up, nag-tour muna kami around. but first, hinabol muna namin ni lil' boy ang free ride sa carousel and mini train.
 
then to the chapel. ang ganda ng chapel nila, though may finishing touches pa because the owner, Mr. Sam Butcher, was out of the country that time. he is by the way the creator of Precious Moments, and his paintings on the walls and ceiling of the chapel are amazing!
 
then we went to the Boardwalk just at the back of our room. sarap ng simoy ng hangin talaga sa tabing-dagat.
then we checked out the pool area. there are 2 pools and lil' boy just can't wait to swim. we ate dinner at the pool area. food was just ok, nothing fancy.
we're so tired so we headed back to our room and had a relaxing and fun bubble bath, w/ blowing bubbles on the side. =)
 
and had a good night sleep after.
09/08
woke up early to catch the sunrise at the Boardwalk. naglakad kami sa tabing-dagat kasama ng mga kasabayan namin sa plane. at may mga fishermen pa na kakadating lang at may mga huling isda. it was such an experience, parang ang simple ng buhay dun.
after breakfast, lil' boy had his cutest picture with them: =)
then went back to our room to take a bath and checked out. we left our things sa reception as we toured the rest of the place. we cheked out Jojo's Christmas Cottage and bought souvenir PM shirt for me and sando/short for lil' boy. then went to Sam's Mansion and his Precious Moments Gallery and saw his cutest creations. we also visited the Butterfly Farm and the Aquarium. all in all, super sulit ang overnight stay namin dito, sobrang nag-enjoy kami.
around 10am, hinatid na kami ulit ng van sa Kalibo airport, dahil dun naman kami sinundo ng van going to Caticlan.
the 1.5 hr. travel was tiring, nasa harapan pa naman kami naupo kaya medyo masikip. buti na lang lil' boy was sleeping the entire trip.
we arrived at Boracay around 1230pm. after checking in at La Carmela, we finally ate our lunch at the nearby resto. the hotel is nice, clean and new. and i was really looking for a resort with a pool, because i know lil' boy likes it better than beach. so eto na ang cheapest na nakita kong beachfront resort na may pool. downside is station 2 nga lang, medyo long walk to D' Mall and a trike ride to the whitest sand of Bora, which is in stn. 1.
after resting for awhile, had a dip in the pool. super saya na ni lil' boy kasi he really loves swimming. then strolled and had dinner sa mga ihawan sa tabi. tuwa ulit si lil' boy kasi naman puro jumbo ang mga hotdogs, his favorite!
then at last, we saw this lighted sand castles! the first time kasi na nagpunta kami sa Bora, walang mga ganun, kasi naman maulan nun. kaya excited kaming nagpa-picture, hehe.
09/09
woke up around 8am, had breakfast, then played with lil' boy sa sand. sulit lahat ng
toys na dinala namin, kasi super nag-enjoy sya. di nga lang marunong gumawa ng castle ang tatay nya, kaya wala kaming sand castle, mwehehe.
having problems uploading pics, kaya eto na muna...
then swim na kami sa beach, then sa pool.
around 10am, ahon na kami at sleeping time na ni lil' boy. lunchtime, ate at Gasthof at nag-ikot sa D' Mall. sobrang commercialized na ang D' Mall, meron na nga Ice Monster, Mongkok, Bite Club, Cindy's, Andok's at marami pang iba. meron pang wall climbing at mini ferris wheel.
then back to the hotel for a lil rest. then went to station 1 at namasyal, habang naghahabulan kami ni lil' boy sa fine white sand. =)
opkors, di pwedeng palampasin ang Choco Banana Peanut shake ng Jona's. then, dinner sa Coco Mangas after. enjoy din si lil' boy sa Coco Mangas kasi nakapaglaro sya ng husto sa table namin, habang umiinom, hehe.
sarap tumambay dito, ang comfy kasi ng dating eh. sabi nga namin ni hubby, sarap mag-inuman dun kapag marami kayo, kagulo siguro.
09/10
the usual routine, breakfast, then swim sa beach and pool.
at 930am, hotel ulit and prepared for Sunday mass. nag-trike kami going to Pearl of the Pacific, may chapel daw kasi dun at may misa ng 11am. so dating kami dun before 11, medyo umaambon pa. ang Shrine of Mary, Mother and Queen of All Nations ay located sa looban ng Pearl of the Pacific. a 10-minute walk through the forest. medyo gusto ko na ngang bumalik in the middle of the walk kasi parang kami lang ni hubby & lil' boy ang naglalakad dun. tsaka takot ako sa lamok dahil nga maulan at medyo forest sya. buti na lng dumaan yung mini van na naghahatid sa priest kaya naisakay kami. ang ganda ng chapel kasi nga nasa forest so maaliwalas talaga. tsaka ok mag-mass dun kasi iba ang feeling eh. pauwe, sinakay pa din kami kaya di na kami naglakad.
nag-trike na lang ulit kami to D' Mall and ate lunch at Mongkok.

after a very heavy lunch eh bagsak kami lahat sa hotel. around 4pm, hubby woke up for merienda pero antok pa din ako. kaya nag-date na lang silang mag-ama sa D' Mall at nag-take out ng Bite Club. while i was left sleeping and watching The Buzz! hehe. dahil sa heavy merienda, mga past 10pm na kami ginutom ulit. kaya labas pa din kami at kumain sa Andoks na open 24 hours. we were back sa hotel around 12mn, kaya officially ay bertdey ko na, yiheee!
09/11
hubby woke up early at nag-hilamos at toothbrush. taka pa ako baket eh usapan namin na late kami gigising. pero dedma lang ako at tulog pa din. around 7am, may kumatok sa door namin at sinagot ni hubby. dedma pa din ako, tulog pa din, hehe. then, biglang sabi si hubby "Happy Birthday Mahal!" so pagdilat ko, may breakfast in bed na ako, with matching bday cake at gift nya na wallet (na walang laman, haha =).

wow, how sweet naman! buti na lang tulog pa si lil' boy kaya na-enjoy namin ang "moment". ate the food and the yummy cake. ang sarap ng cake, grabe! parang di gawa sa probinsya. =) after that, tulog ulit kami, hehe.
woke up around 10am and prepared our things. trike ulit kami to Waling-Waling, nagpa-reserved kasi ako dun ng cabana for our lunch eh. sarap tumambay dito at magduyan-duyan. hay, "this is life!" talaga. =)
just had our lunch and merienda there. konting swim-swim and play-play si lil' boy. then we had a relaxing massage. nakakatawa pa kasi syempre di kami pwedeng magsabay ni hubby magpa-massage. so nauna sya while i was playing with lil' boy. aba, nung nakita nyang minamasahe ang tatay nya, nagagalit ba naman, hehe. at nung ako na ang minamasahe eh umiyak, as in umatunggal hanggang nasa beach na sila, nakatingin pa din sa akin at umiiyak. mwehehe, akala siguro nya sinasaktan ako kaya umiiyak. though i tried to explain na "massage lang niya si mama, like what i'm doing to you every night". iyak pa din sya. side kwento: everytime makikita nya kaming naghaharutan ni hubby, nagagalit sya, biglang sisigaw, akala nya siguro nagsasakitan kami, hehe.
back to bora, we just enjoyed our LAST day in Bora, huhu! we stayed there until 6pm, then back to our hotel. after taking a bath, had dinner sa hotel resto. then time to pack up our things. hay, kay bilis talaga ng araw kapag nag-eenjoy ka.
09/12
woke up at 530am at niligpit na lahat ng gamit. at 6am, hinatid na kami sa port sa likod. then boat na to Caticlan. while vaiting for our bus, nag-breakfast na muna kami dun. then the 1.5 hr. travel to Kalibo. we were there by 9am for our 1015am flight. so eat muna ulit si lil' boy ng merienda while i bought crabs and suman pang-pasalubong.
we were in manila by 1115am and finally home by 12nn. at syempre, super na-miss ng lolo't lola ang kanilang nag-iisang apo. and look at their cute pasalubong from cebu:
nag-cebu din kasi silang dalawa (my parents) while we were in boracay. fully-booked na kasi that time ang bora kaya di na sila nakasama sa amin.
for me, this is the happiest vacation we ever had. sobrang happy na talagang ayaw naming dumilim at mag-gabi dahil matatapos na naman ang isang araw, hehe. every night nga ay nagkaka-countdown kami, tipong "hop, 2 days down, 4 to go...". enjoy din namin ang room namin kasi syempre naka-aircon 24/7, kaya super lamig talaga at sarap magpahinga. isa pa, super laki ng bed namin, a queen and a double na pinagdikit namin. kaya talagang di kami "rubbing elbows" matulog, haha. kahit magpagulong-gulong kaming tatlo sa bed, pwede. and syempre, the time ALONE with my family for 6 straight days ang na-enjoy ko talaga. hay, vacations like this are really priceless! kahit na medyo "priceFUL" sya eh sulit naman sa saya namin at ni lil' boy.
