WOW davao! =)
finally, natuloy na din kami...the 2nd leg of our 2nd anniversary celebration.

june 23, friday - woke up at 5am and got ready for Davao. rode a cab at 6am and we were at the Domestic Airport before 7am. did the routinary procedure and was advised at around 8am that our 850am flight will be delayed for 30mins. btw, we were flying Cebu Pacific, the supposedly "new Filipino time"! =(
we reached Davao by 11am, and fetched by the shuttle of Pearl Farm to Marina Wharf. since we haven't eaten our lunch yet, and there was no available resto yet at the port, we asked the shuttle to bring us to the nearest resto for a quick lunch, because we had to be back for the 130pm boat transfer.
when we were waiting for a cab, puro non-aircon kia pride ang dumadating, buti na lang dun lang pala ang parking nung shuttle na sinakyan namin, kaya hinatid ulit kami sa port, hehe, swerte. pagdating sa port, kinausap ko yung dumating na aircon taxi, sinakyan ng mga kasabay namin. kinontrata ko kung pwede nya kaming sunduin tomorrow at ihatid sa Eden Nature Park. buti pumayag sa halagang P800! swerte ulit, kasi regular rate daw dun ay P1,000 - P1,500.
the boat ride to Pearl Farm was 45 minutes, at may kasama pang bottled water. pagdating sa Pearl Farm, iced tea ang welcome drinks. then sa registration, we were given the best location cottage in the resort, Samal House # 1&2. nearest sa infinity pool, sa beach at sa resto. kaya lang, under renovation ang resto nila, so sa kabilang island (Malipano Island) muna ang temporary resto. 3-min boat transfer is available naman anytime.
Pearl Farm is really nice, so far, the BEST Philippine resort for me.

pero as for my Mom, she still likes Panglao Island Nature Resort in Bohol better. and our cottage is really cute, i love the idea of being on stilts, pagsilip mo, beach agad at ang daming isda. iba't-ibang klase at sari-saring kulay, parang may big aquarium sa baba ng bahay namin. ang sarap ng feeling, pati si lil' boy ay sobrang nag-enjoy!

we just rested for an hour, then started the 'kodakan'! kailangang sulitin ang bayad noh, sayang ang view! after the picture taking of the beautiful spots, we were swimming alone in the pool and in the beach. we felt like having the whole resort all by ourselves, hehe. pati si lil' boy, pinag-swim ko sandali kahit galing sa lagnat the day before. kawawa naman kasi eh, super type nya talaga sa tubig, ayaw nga paawat eh, nagwawala.

at dinner time, we just had our food delivered sa room, para hindi na kami mag-boat, medyo madilim na din kasi. the food was great also, sarap ng crispy pata at adobong kangkong w/ bagnet, yummy talaga!
after watching the teleseryes sa Kapamilya while my dad and hubby were drinking beers, we called it a night, sarap matulog eh, ang lamig! =)

june 24, saturday - it was easy to wake up early in the morning upon hearing the splash of water and seeing the sunrise and the beach from your bed. it was really "wow, life!" =)

we had our buffet breakfast as early as 7am. sobrang dami ng food at ang sarap, can't get enough of it all. lalo na ang pakwan juice nila, super yummy, naka-limang refill yata ako, hehe.
after a filling breakfast, back to the resort at sakay kami ng shuttle (multicab) para ikutin ang buong resort. grabe, katakot kasi bundok at rough roads pala lahat ng daanan paakyat, sobrang tagtag. halos nawala nga yung inalmusal ko eh, hehe. buti na lang pala di namin kinuha yung Hilltop Rooms, kasi sa taas pa iyon eh. kaya pala cheaper yung rates dun, medyo matatagtag ka muna, hehe.
after that, i breastfed lil' boy to sleep. then sinundan ko si hubby dun sa kabilang pool at beach, sa may Mandaya House. habang ang parents ko ang bantay kay lil' boy. sarap dun kasi may jacuzzi, relaxing talaga kaya kami ni hubby had a really great time there.
12nn was check-out time. we just bought some souvenir shirts, then boat ride na at 1pm. the cab was already waiting for us sa port by 2pm. we first had luch at Colasa's w/ manong driver, then headed to Eden already. medyo malayo nga pala ito, an hour drive from the city. tsaka may konting rough roads din at sobrang probinsya na talaga, medyo scary kasi wala masyadong bahay at tao. sad part pa, it was raining on our way there. =(
we arrived at Eden Nature Park at 4pm.

checked-in then stayed lang sa rooms. we couldn't do anything kasi nga it was raining. at dinner time, sinundo na kami ng shuttle papuntang canteen for our buffet dinner. masarap naman ang food, at medyo nakampante na ang mama ko kasi nakita nya na ang dami palang tao. kasi hiwa-hiwalay yung mga rooms eh, my mom thought na kami lang ang tao dun sa forest na iyon, hehe. sobrang duwag kasi ng mama ko eh, tapos puro puno pa nasa paligid namin, at wala ka ngang makitang ibang tao kasi nga umuulan. sa canteen lang kami nagkikita-kita.
after dinner, back to our rooms and inuman ulit sila ng mga take-out naming beers. then slept na kasi wala na kaming magawa eh. sarap din matulog kahit walang aircon kasi umuulan at nasa bundok pa kami, kaya talagang malamig!

june 25, sunday - had buffet breakfast sa canteen at 7am, then nagpahatid kami sa chapel sa labas ng park to hear the 8am mass. after that, nag-fishing na kami.

we went home at 8pm, it was our last night sa Davao, sobrang bilis talaga ng araw.

i almost forgot that we were flying Cebu Pacific, akala ko PAL na kami, kasi Plane Always Late na din sila. we were delayed by 45 minutes AGAIN!

at ang aking asawa, sobrang nag-enjoy din. but while we were unpacking our things sa room, biglang hirit ng "susunod, boracay na, mas masaya yun!".
oo nga naman, sana mas maging masaya pa ang aming bora trip on sept kasi 6 days kami dun noh, tsaka kaming tatlo lang talaga ni lil' boy, so as in family bonding.
hay, can't wait again for my birthday on september, i just love travelling! need to change my countdown ticker, hehe.
