| Africa's Farewell |
it's been a month today, wasn't able to blog it last month.
anyway, they were finally gone! the family i've been bloggin' about before, our favorite Tita-Ninang May "ganda", Uncle JR, Ninong (of lil' boy) Garone, Meegee, Giandric & Margo are now in Monterey Park, USA adjusting to their new life there. =(
April 28, Friday. i went home early because it's the Despedida Party as well as 50th Bday of Tita May, my peborit ninang sa binyag at kasal. the party was held sa house, so mega prepare kami. i ordered a cake via phone na din for them from Goldilocks, kaya lang, ang galing ng spelling nila, hehe.
 
it was fun! the kainan and kwentuhan! the last minute bilins at bonding moments.
 
when the time that my eldest cousin, Garone had to leave and spent some last quiet time w/ his gf, i was about to cry. buti na lang na-realize ko na we'll be staying at their house pa pala kinabukasan for the "as in last farewell", hehe. during the inuman kasi, napag-kasunduan nilang mag-stay na lang sa house nila Tita the night before their 8am flight. walang tulugan hanggang sa hatiran sa airport. so i held back my tears. =)
April 29, Saturday. we all heard the 6pm mass, their last mass in the PI. then, diretso na sa house nila sa Vista Verde. nagdatingan na din ang iba ko pang mga Uncles at Tita. after eating dinner, inuman ulit sila. sobrang dami namin sa house kaya sobrang gulo at super saya. talk about last minute bonding talaga! at kasabay ng kanilang final empake ay ang pangungulimbat namin ng ilang natitirang gamit nila, hehe!
 
at syempre si lil' boy ay center of attraction, as always. kaya ayun, nakatulog sa sobrang pagod kaka-entertain, hehe.
madaling araw na pero wala pa ding tumutumba sa amin, lahat gising pa. to kill time, my younger cousins and i (and lil' boy) played Tong-Its for the last time. ito kasi ang madalas naming nilalaro during our Tagaytay & Baguio vacations eh.
at eto na ang mga itsura namin around 4am, habang sinasakay ang kanilang tone-toneladang maleta (na kasya ang anak ko sa laki!) sa van namin.
after our early breakfast at maagang kulitan...it was finally time. the final farewell has come! this is it!!! and so, umagos na ang mga luha, as expected! ang hirap talaga, parang ang sakit sa dibdib, just thinking na hindi na namin sila makakasama for quite some time. hay, but that's life. they need to move on and find a better life. so, we need to let go...
after they left, tsaka umiyak ang mommy ko sa room, di lang pala iyak, medyo hagulgol. she was holding her tears kasi para di na masyadong umiyak si Tita. kaya nung nakaalis na sila, tsaka nya nilabas. so, nag-iyakan na naman kami, hanggang sa nakatulog na lang.
right now, after one month. they've adjusted somehow to their new house. at they are waiting for us to go there. nyahaha, eh wala na nga akong VISA eh, at pahirapan na kumuha. but i definitely miss USA! it's been 10 years since we went there for our 2-mo vacation. kelan kaya ulit? bahala na...
one thing's for sure though, we'll still see each other, either here or there!
and one thing definite! we just miss them all so much, especially my
2 older cousins
and my Tita Ganda
at ang kakulitan ng buong pamilya!
