| it was another 'panic' monday... |
january 9, 2005...ang ika-siyam na buwang kaarawan ng aking unico hijo! =)
excited ako kasi i was advised by my pedia na pwede na syang kumain ng table food. kanin daw at sabaw, pwede na din ang veggies, fruits at konting mga meat. pati egg nga daw pwede na.
so sa food take-out order ko, pinasamahan ko ng soup para makakain si baby.
i arrived home at 8pm. prepared the table and took some bday shots of baby w/ his cake.

after that, it was time to eat. i put a little rice and some hototay soup to baby's plate and yaya fed him. dahil sobrang takaw and wailed after finishing his food, i gave him a second serving.
after eating, i carried him and noticed some red tiny spots on his mouth and neck area. medyo na-alarm ako kasi dumadami ung rashes. so we thought na baka nabigla lang dun sa kinain nya. so i remembered what cata mentioned in one of our conf/chat about virgin coconut oil. so i put some on the reddened area. later, medyo nawawala na. so ang galing, effective nga ang VCO. thanks cata! =)
so we went to our room and opened our gift to baby boy. we gave him a pooh drum kasi napansin ko lately na gusto nyang nagtatambol, hehe. he loves the drums, but he loves the sticks more, haha! we also opened the pooh piano given as xmas gift by his ninong bodj, kasi nag-give-up na ung P50 nyang piano galing divi, nyahaha.
 
he was playing so happily when i noticed that he was scratching his eyes area terribly! so when i checked, naku po! namumula na din ung eye area nya and they are starting to swell. nag-iba na din ung itsura nya dahil sa maga ng upper face. di ko na pinicturan kasi ayoko ung itsura nya eh, hehe.
so i called my parents and show them. then i called pedia and asked her. she told me to bring him sa emergency room na so he can be checked. baka daw kasi mahirapan huminga caused by the allergic reaction.
so ayun na nga, bday na bday pa naman eh papunta kaming ospital w/ hubby and mama. i was nervous on the way to the hospital kasi nga baka mahirapan syang huminga. kaya talagang observed ko ang breathing nya. di ko din pinapakita na tensed nako coz hubby was driving, baka kung ano pa mangyari. and my mama was definitely more nervous than i was. baka una pa daw syang dalhin sa emergency room kesa sa apo nya. hay!
at the hospital and after asking for our story, sabi ng nurse dun "hay, hototay na naman! me ganyan din po kahapon eh, allergy din". damn! i promised myself not to order hototay anymore, mwehehe.
buti na lang di sya hirap huminga. although medyo inubo pagdating dun. i don't know if that was connected to the allergy.
he was just injected with benadryl for the swelling to subside. and we had to nebulize kasi medyo me plema daw. after that, inantok na sya kaya breastfeed muna kami sa hospital. hehe, ako nga ung nakahiga dun sa bed eh w/ baby. nakabantay si hubby. sabi ko kay hubby paki-gising ako ng 6am at baka ma-late ako sa office. haha, bahay?! =)
after an hour, we were sent home.
Thank God! =)
i really hate monday!!! it was not only a manic monday, but a panic monday as well.
but still, it was a happy birthday for my baby boy! =) |
